Wed like a volunteer coordinator
of our REPs (Rebozo Way Educators of Parenting Practices),
to network, coordinate referrals, share beneficial ways of promoting
the use of rebozos and other traditional baby carriers, and generally
take care of all of our hard working, dedicated REPs who keep
The Rebozo Way of Life going at the grass roots level. We greatly
appreciate the efforts of our last REP liason who had to resign
to spend more time with her family.
We want people whod like to sponsor
native midwives, healers and curanderas to come and participate
in conferences or give lecture or workshops as Rebozo Way educational
events and fundraisers. We want people with advertising and
public relations experience who can coordinate these phases
of the Project, find us free ways to advertise and promote our
goals, etc. We want grantwriters to help us get funding
to continue with our many projects to promote The Rebozo Way of
Life. One of our priorities is to get funding for our Photo Show.
Wed like donations of professional
quality slide film, still cameras with zoom lenses (point
and shoot, SLR and Rangefinders), digital cameras and software,
and donations earmarked for processing of these slides, to continue
to create the Rebozo Way photography book and more shows.

Wed like people with connections in
the publishing world, or those with interest and ideas
for this, to research and make contacts regarding getting our
photography book published.
Wed like people to seek out social
service agencies and other arenas that would benefit from
knowledge about the Rebozo Way of Life and make contacts with
them, show videos, provide support, etc. Wed like people
who are bicultural (Latin American/Northamerican) who can act
as bridges between cultures as Rebozo Way representatives.
We need a van that we can travel into
Mexico and farther south for video and photo projects, a van
that can comfortably fit 5 or 6 people and luggage for our educational
tours, in the same areas. We need travel agents or other
nonprofit organizations or others who do tours to indigenous areas
of the world to donate part of the charge for these tours to The
Rebozo Way Project, and/ or to give us the info to make arrangements
with folks who want to go on these tours and donate part of the
fee, or a small additional fee, to the Project. We also need orgs
and individuals who know about setting up educational tours to
share info with us.
Wed like video equipment, one
or more cameras, and editing equipment, state of the art; preferably
a Sony VX 2000 or Canon GL1, Mac G4 or G5 computer and Final Cut
Pro editing software, to be given or loaned to us. We also need
volunteer camera and sound people and editors to help us at various
phases of upcoming projects.
